Structural Engineer
Jarrett Nuyen is a Structural Engineer at HFA, with a B.S.E. in Civil Engineering from Western Michigan University with specialization in Structural Engineering. With three years of experience in the field, Jarrett has excelled in solving complex problems, utilizing his skills in Gravity and Lateral loads, concrete design, wood design, steel design, masonry design and foundation design. At HFA, he leads a team of drafters on various restaurant projects, designing all necessary structural elements of a building from the roof to the foundation. Jarrett holds a P.E. license in Michigan and is 10-hour OSHA Certified. He achieved his PE license two years in advance and was awarded the ACEC Scholar of the year in 2019.
