Andrew Mack is a seasoned architect with a decade of experience in commercial, mixed-use, and multifamily design. As Chief Designer at HFA’s Franklin office, he is dedicated to elevating the firm’s design presence both in the Boston region and on a global scale. His work focuses on multifamily developments along the Eastern Seaboard, including notable projects like Heritage on Main in Medway, MA.

Andrew’s career began at OMA under Shohei Shigematsu, where he contributed to numerous high-profile design competitions, including the winning entry for the Miami Beach Convention Center. He later spent five years at SOM, where he played a key role in shaping major commercial and mixed-use towers, including the 500-meter Greenland International Finance Center. His expertise spans design excellence, communication, and deep technical knowledge of building systems and structures.

With a strong interest in sustainable innovation, Andrew has conducted extensive research on Mass Timber, including a grant-funded study interviewing the builders of the world’s first timber skyscrapers. His passion for integrating advanced building technologies with thoughtful design positions him as a leader in the industry.
